TTO (Thermal Transfer Overprint) Near Edge ribbon is a specialized thermal transfer ribbon engineered exclusively for high-speed, in-line printing on flexible packaging materials. Unlike traditional flat-head ribbons, TTO Near Edge ribbons are formulated for near-edge printheads, which operate with the heating elements positioned at the very edge of the ceramic head at approximately a 45-degree angle. This design enables the ribbon and substrate to separate almost instantly after heating, requiring the ink to melt and transfer immediately rather than remaining semi‑molten for an extended period
