Unlike wax or wax‑resin ribbons, the resin ribbon uses a fully synthetic resin coating that forms a strong, chemical‑resistant bond with synthetic label materials. It delivers the highest level of scratch, solvent, and heat resistance available in thermal transfer printing.

How it works
Heat from the printhead melts the resin coating, which then fuses directly with synthetic substrates such as polyester, polyimide, or polypropylene. The resulting print becomes nearly integral with the label – far more durable than any wax‑based alternative.
